Oh what a day such a warm welcome at Bourke, visiting the community health centre meeting the team and enjoying morning tea,spotted a pink tree while driving around to 2WEB outback radio, to meet Wayne with my co writer Jen.
3pm head to our Authors talk at the library, with fellow Dubbo authors Jen Cowley- Grandpas Hat and Toni Grant - Serpents Song. Welcomed by the mayor Barry Hollman , and GM of Council Ross Earl, felt proud as there was standing room only!
Spoke to 2 beautiful ladies they had travelled 2 hours and taken the day off work to attend our authors talk, and purchase our books. Caught up with a friend from Narromine who was out there’s working!
Had the pleasure of attending the Rotary Club dinner meeting again speaking on our books .
Had a few laps around town blowing my air horn.
